The storms are raging on the rollin' sea (Les tempêtes font rage sur la mer déchainée)
And on the highway of regret (Et sur la longue route des regrets
The winds of change are blowing wild and free Les vents du changement soufflent libres
You ain't seen nothing like me yet T'as encore jamais vu de chose comme moi

I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
    Nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
To make you feel my love
c'est pour ça qu'il fallait du temps Pour que l'on ressente son amour

  3. hey louis, visiting you tonight, just passing by
seems like he's almost passing too, at some times of the song, with his hair floating in the air, like they're being called from above, you'd think the rest of the corpse'd follow and go up meet his grace next second you know
going, going... gone, just like that
it really looks like he's getting closer though, singing there, but he's not there, the wind blowing his hair flowing into his harmonica too, getting out some outta world notes, like an old secret, yet he sounds like a young bird courtin' his sweetheart for the very first time, and he sure can make us feel his love
makes the whole scene even more evanescent
it's a ghost, visiting his japanese pals, on the land of specters, muturring some truths to the livings up on the ground, under him

talkin of ghosts, did you know that ol' dear kinky friedman made a new album ?
the jew himself. it's been fourty years since his last, and he just steps in just like that, like nothing happened. what did happen exactly ?

twelve new songs like he wrote them yesterday on his texas porch, while smoking cigar, one cigar and the whole thing was done.
well anyway it's called circus of life. now don't get excited, it's nothing fancy, nothing "carnavalesque", far from rolling thunder, the thunder's long gone, it passed away some time ago, yet you can hear it in the distance, far away, howling the memories of all the lives he shook.
the circus never left town, it closed down and left the tribe of jugglers, clowns, minstrel boys and girls, disappointed, like in some broke jerry lewis movie i can't recall the name.

twelve haunted songs, that carry long memories
melancolic, very sentimental, but you know the jew, he never makes it mushy, he mumures softly the words, with his feminine voice, close to the one of his old outlaw pal hoover, whom he already sung two or three songs in his 2015 cover album, the loneliest man i ever met.
it's mainly about him, freedom, jesus, willie nelson, and about saying goodbye.
just an old cowboy sitting by the fire, remembering old friends, on a sentimental journey
you're welcome to it louis, in the meantime i'll haunt this place for awhile and i'll be there to hear your stories if you have some for me.
    i'll see you,
    jack.
