who was the minstrel man from georgia?

originally, it's emmett miller, a white man performing as blackface all around the south in the early twenties, when vaudeville reigned supreme
.... but it might also be blind willie mc tell, a wandering georgia sweet voiced bluesman and gospel moaner ... or another great plaintive blues serenader, peg leg howell?

young blind willie mc tell/old peg leg howell (baby let me play with your yo yo)
.... and what about white minstrel bob dylan, as much influenced by emmett miller as he was by blind willie mc tell?
.... not forgetting the one and only prince of funk music, james brown, who grew up in miserable augusta, georgia ...?

the meters, total funk 1974
